Luke is senior investment professional with over 20 years’ experience spanning sell-side and buy-side manager research and selection, investment and operational due diligence, portfolio management and monitoring across alternative assets and private markets.

Luke joined Dot in January 2020 to develop Dot’s investment proposition and to source, diligence and onboard top managers to the platform. Luke’s experience and relationships in private markets and alternative assets will ensure that a steady pipeline of exciting, and well-vetted funds are available to Dot’s investors, from core holdings to more opportunistic strategies that seize on the latest market trends and macro developments. Prior to founding his private consulting practice Park Lane Advisors, Luke was a Director at BlackRock and the lead strategist in EMEA for multi-alternative private secure income products and solutions from 2016-2019.

From 2001 to 2015 Luke held various roles of increasing responsibility in hedge fund research and portfolio management, culminating in his role as Co-Head of Public Market Manager Selection for the Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS). At USS, Luke led a team responsible for manager research and selection of hedge funds across the asset and strategy spectrum globally, and served as portfolio manager of USS’ shighly successful absolute return hedge fund programme. Luke graduated from Concordia University, holds an MBA from Wilfred Laurier University, and is a CFA and CAIA charter holder.
